How to Have a Great Disco Inferno Party
Are you a fan of the music and styles from the 70’s? Why not let that come through and throw a themed party that honors the Disco era? Themed parties are a fun way to get friends and family together and celebrate special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.
Ask guests to dress up in their own versions of the favored 70’s fashions, such as leisure suits and bell bottoms. Have them pile on the jewelry and the shoes with the clunky heels. Once they get to your party, give them glow sticks or necklaces or bracelets that glow in the dark. Or try making them wear neon wigs and funky sunglasses.
To liven up the party space, be sure to get decorations that are keeping within the disco theme. Metallic doorway danglers in the form of disco balls and strobe lights are just two ways to turn your living room into a nightclub from the disco era. Hanging disco balls from the ceiling and decorating the walls with banners will also add to the theme.
Balloons with psychedelic colors and patterns can also be used. Smiley face balloons and party favors that incorporate the smiley face are also a popular choice for a disco party. And what disco party is complete without dancing? CD’s with compilations from the music that was popular during that era will get people in the mood to dance.
